S: Weigh In Wednesday

So I’m back to weighing in each week. With all this illness stuff, and fasting before procedures it just hasn’t been worth it. I am on the mend now, so I can officially start again!

Starting Weight: 68.7kg

Last Weigh In: 64.7kg

This week: 64.2kg

I lost 500g!! That’s half a kilo :) I know I haven’t weighed myself in 3ish weeks, but considering what I’ve been doing and going through that is great.

HIGH FIVES ALL ROUND!!!

I am 500g away from losing my initial target of 5kg. I CAN DO IT!!

S: 7km Run

Done and DONE!!!!

S: Iron Woman

So I’ve been missing in action for almost 3 weeks now, because i’ve been having methane breath tests for lactose and fructose, surgery and then finally today a 6hr iron transfusion - you can now call me IRON WOMAN!

Diagnosis: Fructose malabsorption, potential coeliac, and EXTREMELY low iron.

Hopefully I am on the mend though :) Looking forward to feeling strong and soooo much better.

I’ve missed you guys..

J: WIW

So I weighed in today, after working out for an hour and 45 mins - I did two classes, aerobics/step for an hour and bums, legs and tums (which definately worked my tum!)

So I wasn’t expecting miracles today because I haven’t been 100% good with me eating, however, I am feeling a lot better in myself (and my clothes) so thought something would have come off!

According to the scales I lost .4lbs - meh! It’s better than a kick in the teeth :D

To summarise -

 Last Weigh In = 11 stone 7lbs (163.8lbs)

C/W = 11 stone 6.6lbs (162.4lbs)

Here’s to a better weigh-in next week :D

J: I did it!!…well kind of :D

So I made it out there, and managed to walk the doggies too but when I got ready to run back I realised I didn’t have enough time to run back home before work eeeek! What to do…..CALL MY MUM!! hehe! My mum lives about a mile away from my auntie’s so I ran to my mums and caught a lift :D still 4.55 miles in the bag for today :D Im still VERY happy about that!

Hope you’ve all had a good day xx

J: I want to go shopping!

The sun is shining and my wardrobe isn’t prepared for it! Im going to save my shopping spree for my birthday :D until then I’m going to try my hardest to slim down so I feel great when trying on new clothes.

Yesterday I ran over to aunt’s house, three miles away, so I could take her pups for a walk. It was great, it worked out to be 5.15km and I did it in 35 mins - walking up one hill! I didn’t run home because my knee was aching and I suppose I was scared I wouldn’t be able to do it, so the Boyf came to pick me up (awww!). Actually I was scared before I left the house cus I thought I wouldn’t be able to run over there! I definately over estimated the distance!

Today, is a different story…the boyf is at work and those little doggies need walking, so heres the plan - I’m going to run over there (I definately know I can get there) the my plan is to run back (this is the tricky bit). Im worried that Im going to find it REALLY hard to get back home. I suppose if I have to walk some of the way then I have to walk - not a lot I can do about that - but at least Im gonna give it a try and get off the sofa!

I’ll be sure to check back in with you guys to let you know how I did - but for now wish me luck :D

p.s. I’ve mapped out the run and it will be a total distance of 11.51km, thats 7.15 miles. EEEEEK!!!

S: I’m In LOVE

with my new Garmin running watch. Swooooooooooooooooooooooooon

S: I feel fat

I feel yucky. My cold is much better, but all I have done for almost 2 weeks is eat and NOT exercise. I really feel it. It has to STOP as of NOW!

J: ARGH! People can be so very annoying!

I decided to go out for a run today, due to the gorgeous sunshine and some free time before work. I was really enjoying my run until some overweight, middle-aged man, in his car decided to mock me as he drove past - he found it highly hilarious to motion the arm movements of running infront of a car full of his mates….argh! If only there was some way I could have said to him

“Well done mate, you got the arm movements down to a T…now all you need to do is get ur ass out of the car and put your feet on the pavement!”

ARGH! Why do people have to do that…we’re out doing something good and healthy!

Sorry for the rant… here’s a photo of me after my run, with a quick change ready to go to work….

honestly this photo doesn’t do justice to just how red my face was…imagine beetroot…lol!
